WEEE Regulations for disposable of Waste Electrical & Electronic

Equipment Regulations (2006 No.3289)

Please note that under the above WEEE regulations Jacobs Digital Photo & Video offer a free Take Back Scheme where you the consumer can drop off any goods purchased. These goods will be sent to our Head Office where they will be disposed of using a local WEEE approved recycling company.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic goods on the environment, by increasing re-use and recycling and reducing the amount of WEEE going to landfill. It seeks to achieve this by making producers responsible for financing the collection, treatment, and recovery of waste electrical equipment, and by obliging distributors to allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

Remember to take your old equipment with you when you buy that upgrade.
All Jacobs High Street Stores will offer a free take back service, all you need to do is drop them off and we will do the rest.

Alternatively if you can not reach one of our stores, you can post them to our Head Office in Leicester.
