Our Website prices normally reflect a better deal by buying online. This means that the price quoted is for buying that product solely through the website ordering process, and will not generally be available through our high street retail stores. In some cases we might offer the website price instore as well, please check with your local store for details. Genuine UK Stock We at Jacobs pride ourselves on bringing you the best prices and the best deals available from all the major manufactures. This means that we will only buy direct from UK suppliers, we do not source any equipment overseas, if we did they would, in most cases not have the support or backing from the UK suppliers, you can shop with confidence that your purchase has a full UK warranty and full UK specifications. Postage & Packing Prices • Small items in Mainland Britain are only £3.99 for Royal Mail Recorded delivery i.e. Batteries, memory cards, chargers and small accessories. • Large items in Mainland Britain are only £4.99 for Courier delivery i.e. Camcorders, Digital and Analogue cameras, lenses, flashguns and tripods. • All orders in Mainland Britain with a total basket price upwards of £200 are available for free standard delivery. • Northern Ireland (Royal Mail) 2-5 days £20.00 • Scottish Highlands (Royal Mail) 2-5 days £20.00 We do not deliver outside the U.K. and N.Ireland. Allow up to 2 working days for Courier delivery. Orders received after 12:00 Noon on a working day will normally be dispatched on the next working day (Monday to Thursday). Delivery charge for goods is the method of dispatch for which you would like your product dispatched on. If an item you have ordered is out of stock but a 24 hour delivery service is chosen your item will be dispatched on a 24 hour delivery service when your product comes into stock. Please note that our Couriers do not deliver on weekends, (unless a Saturday delivery is chosen) your order placed on a Friday or over the weekend will be delivered to you on the following Wednesday providing all your products ordered are in stock at our warehouse. Customers using a DHL service please be aware orders that fail delivery and are returned to Jacobs Digital will incur a £15 return charge plus an additional fee for requested redelivery. Delivery Time Scales We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated on the website but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods will be as a result of a late delivery from our supplier which is outside of our control. When, in the unlikely event goods are likely to be delayed we will contact you to advise you of such, as soon as we become aware. You are able to cancel your order for a full refund if the new delivery estimate is not satisfactory. Despite our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delivery delays. If you are concerned about the details this shows please contact us and we will be happy to assist in giving you further details. Any discrepancies in delivery must be notified in writing within a reasonable time. Payment We accept all major credit and debit cards, including: • Visa • Visa Electron • MasterCard • Switch/Maestro • Delta All orders are authorised and debited irrespective of stock status, and will be supplied as soon as stocks permits, within a 30 day time period, unless otherwise agreed. For your security, our payment clearance system has a number of built in precautions against fraudulent use of credit cards. You can help us to clear payment quickly by: • Having delivery to the cardholder's billing address. • Providing the landline telephone number for that address (in addition to any mobile number you may wish to provide). The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. In the unlikely event due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order, if this is not satisfactory. All our products carry a minimum 1 year guarantee. Unless otherwise stated. We do offer a repair service for goods which are out of warranty, via mail order, please contact the mail order team on 0845 600 60 55. Time scales for repairs will vary. Cecil Jacobs Limited Internet Returns Policy Cecil Jacobs Limited is committed to providing the highest quality products selected from the worlds major manufacturers of photographic, digital and video equipment. Most of the products supplied by us are unopened and shipped out as received from the manufacturers. On rare occasions the products supplied by us may be faulty, damaged or are unwanted. We offer the following return facilities for all Internet order or phone orders: • New faulty or defective goods will be accepted back for full refund or replacement within a reasonable time from the date of receipt of the product. This does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, dropping, improper care or storage, or damage resulting from sand or water. Replacement products are subject to availability. Unwanted goods will be accepted back for a full refund including any original delivery charge when notified within 7 working days after the day of receipt of the products. • The goods must be returned in its original form including full box content. • Software can only be accepted back if the software is still sealed. • Audio, Video Tape can only be accepted if the packaging is still sealed. • You must return any free gifts, which came with the product. This does not affect your statutory rights. Click & Collect Terms & Conditions From time to time some stores may be excluded from our click and collect service. Not all products listed on jacobsdigital.co.uk are included in our click and collect offering. Items that you have reserved will only be held until the timing stated at the checkout. If making a long journey it is advised you telephone your chosen store beforehand. Payment is only taken in store when collecting your items. All stores accept credit card, cash or gift vouchers. The price of your reserved order will be the price shown in your basket at checkout online. Pre Order Terms & Conditions 1. You are not required to pay for the product to be able to take advantage of this Pre order Offer. 2. Either call our order hotline on Tel: 0845 600 6055, or stop in to your local Jacobs Store. 3. If you add the products to your basket online, our system will automatically take the funds from your account, this is not necessary and has no bearing on how quickly we are able to supply your order. 4. FREE Products offer and/or any Trade in Offer when you pre-order a pre-order product - Simply add the camera to your basket as well as the free items. 5. Please be aware that on your receipt and on the product page there may be a different date stating that it is before the likely launch date. This is an automated delivery date of your new product. We will contact you shortly before launch to arrange delivery to the address nominated. 6. Delivery charges may apply to all pre orders unless otherwise stated. 7. All orders of the new product with free pre-order products and/ or trade in offer will be delivered from the date of launch. 8. Jacobs will only take pre orders against a pre-agreed launch allocation from the supplier. Jacobs will stop taking pre orders once the launch allocation has been sold. Jacobs will never knowingly oversell the new product. 9. Jacobs will endeavour to deliver on the launch date, however, should the supplier fail to deliver to Jacobs on time or part deliver Jacobs launch allocation, we will deliver to customers in strict chronological order, which may be after the launch date. 10. Jacobs cannot be held responsible should the supplier delay the release of the new product. Should this happen, Jacobs will keep you informed and either deliver on the revised date or offer a refund. Pre-Order Trade-In Terms & Conditions Trade-In offer only applies to a current pre-order trade in offer as stated on our website. The Trade-In value is based upon certain criteria being met, and will be subject to a final decision made solely by Cecil Jacobs Ltd. To achieve the trade-in offer value, your old trade-in product needs to be in perfect cosmetic condition and fully working. The product must be complete with all the original supplied accessories and software. A trade-in price will only be confirmed, once your camera has been inspected, by a member of Cecil Jacobs Ltd and will vary upon conditions already specified. Submitting your old trade-in product for approval by post, will require you to call our Mail Order Hotline for a returns reference, and all despatch costs will be met by the sender. We will of course return the item to you free of charge, if you decide against our valuation, this is providing all of the above requirements are met, failure to do so, then the cost of returning the equipment must be paid by the customer. We advise you to despatch your camera using a secure service, as Cecil Jacobs Ltd, will not accept any liability for non arrival of goods. Issuing a returns reference will not constitute acceptance by Cecil Jacobs Ltd to be included within the Trade-In Offer, we reserve the right to reject such applications. The Trade-In Offer is a limited offer and could be withdrawn or amended without notice given, this offer is on a first come first served basis, but Cecil Jacobs Ltd will endeavour to meet all trade in offers. Trade-In valuation and confirmation of trade-in will be at Cecil Jacobs Ltd discretion and final. The offer is available through all our stores, and we would actively encourage visitation to our branches for a valuation. This does not affect your statutory rights. Cashback Terms & Conditions All products included in a cashback promotion are organised by the product Manufacturer where their terms and conditions will apply and may vary - please refer to their website for further information. The price you see advertised on jacobsdigital.co.uk includes the value of Cashback, this is not the price you pay at the checkout. The price you pay at the checkout will be the price excluding Cashback and add the Cashback amount onto the advertised price. The cashback fee is then later claimed direct from the manufacturer after having paid for the item in full. A valid receipt will need to be shown in order to claim back the cashback from the manufacturer. End dates will vary, please refer to the manufacturers website for more information.
